ESG for All: the Inspiring Path Series

This event will be held in French

In a world of constant change, the integration of ESG - Environmental, Social and Governance - criteria is not just a list of European obligations to be fulfilled, it is also an opportunity to redefine one's business model and ensure a long-term development strategy.

But given the rapid development of standards and the complexity of climate issues, how do you find your way around?

Climate policy: What role for Brussels companies?

For this second edition of the ESG for All series, we have invited Jean-Luc Crucke, Federal Minister for Mobility, Climate and Ecological Transition, and Magali Frankl, Director of The Shift.

Thanks to the expertise and vision of our speakers, ESG for all offers you an analysis of Belgian climate policy and the place of Brussels-based companies within it. They will share their vision on how the business world and the political sphere can work together, because the climate transition will only be a success if everyone joins forces.

Au programme:

  • 8.30 am -  Reception
  • 9 am to 10.30 am - Inspiring courses
  • 10.30 am to 11 am – Networking

Focus on the guests

💥Jean-Luc Crucke began his career as a lawyer before turning to politics. His involvement began at local level as mayor of Frasnes-lez-Anvaing. He then took on regional responsibilities as a member of the Walloon Parliament and held a number of ministerial posts, including Budget, Finance, Energy, Climate and Airports.

Since February 2025, he has been Federal Minister for Mobility, Climate and Ecological Transition. In this position, he continues to play a key role in Belgian public policy, putting his expertise at the service of environmental issues.

💥Magali Frankl is head of The Shift, Belgium's leading platform dedicated to sustainable development. This unique community brings together businesses, associations, academic and public institutions to promote a sustainable and inclusive transition in Belgium.

With a rich background in the social, public and private sectors, Magali is particularly committed to issues of migration, diversity and inclusion. In particular, she contributed to the creation of Talent2Connect, an initiative facilitating the integration of talented jobseekers into the labour market.

Lisa Isnard, Beci's General Secretary, will moderate the panel and Catherine Mertens, ESG community manager at Beci will launch the event.
